Frascati, what a distinctive name!
An Italian town in the hills of the Roman countryside. According to folkloristic traditions, Frascati’s name comes from the word “Frasche”, the Italian name for twigs and branches used as fire wood.
The history of this town is quite intriguing, as it goes back to Roman times. There are the summer residences of many important noble families, Popes and wealthy vacationers, that came from Rome (which is only 20 minutes away).
