Your English speaking tour driver will welcome you at your hotel or any other place of your preference at 8.30am for this exciting Rome & Vatican Full Day tour!
Your private tour driver will give you a fantastic introduction of Rome’s magnificence, letting you fully appreciate its beauty and interesting details. Your first stop will be Piazza Venezia.
You can take a look at the monument of Victor Emmanuel II and Mussolini’s Balcony.
After climbing over the Capitoline Hill, (one of Rome’s seven hills) you can enjoy an amazing view over the Roman Forum.
Of course, if you want you can stop and visit inside. Book the tickets through us and your driver will have them for you, and help you access.
Prior to your drop off and private tour of the Vatican you’ll visit more places and monuments for a memorable experience; like the Roman Forum, Circus Maximus, Spanish steps, Trevi’s fountain (remember to throw a coin inside!!!), the Pantheon, and many Others.
After this morning tour, your private tour driver will be happy to suggest some local restaurants for a delicious meal.
Finally, you driver will take you to the Vatican Museums where you will continue the tour with your very own private guide, from the Vatican!
The visit at the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica will be conducted by an authorized, English-speaking guide from the Vatican City, who will show you the best parts on your way to the Sistine Chapel.
Your private guided tour will include the Cortile Della Pigna, Belvedere, Pio Clementino Museum, the Gallery of Candelabra, the Gallery of Tapestries, the Gallery of Maps, and Raphael’s Rooms.
Next, you will visit the Sistine Chapel, commissioned in 1475 by Pope Sixtus IV, from whom it derives its name. It was designed to be, and still is, the pope’s chapel and the site of papal elections. The Sistine Chapel was sanctified and dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin on August 15, 1483.
There you’ll have the chance to see the “Pietà” of Michelangelo and “Tomb of Saint Peter”, where, according to tradition, the remains of the apostle are kept, making it one of the most sacred places by Christians. The day tour will end with a visit at the dome itself to enjoy the magnificent view of Rome and of Saint Peter’s Square, in particular.

* SKIP THE LINE TICKETS TO COLOSSEUM, VATICAN MUSEUMS & SISTINE CHAPEL : We offer the possibility of reserving skip the line tickets directly during the booking process. That way, everything will be taken care of.
As an alternative, you can find the tickets on the official websites of Colosseum and Vatican Museums. In this case, you will need to reserve the Colosseum entrance for 10:00am, and the Vatican entrance for 1:00pm. Also, to enter Saint Peter’s Basilica from inside the Vatican (without having to exit and go all the way around), there is a very small fee to pay, at the entrance. Our skip the line tickets already include this special pass, so you won’t have to worry about that, if you choose to book the tickets through us.
PLEASE NOTE: the Vatican museum & Sistine chapel are closed on Sundays (except the last Sunday of the month). In this last circumstance the Vatican does not allow any pre -reserved entrance tickets on the last Sunday of every month as it is free to enter and therefore, you may have to wait in long line.
*The Vatican is closed on certain Catholic festivities, but it could close unexpectedly for unforeseen reasons. In which case, we will make all the necessary changes and plan the itinerary accordingly.
