Our tour of Anzio with Gilberto and Max was the experience of a lifetime and I give Discovery Tours the highest recommendation!
From booking our tour to the expert handling of all the logistics, Gilberto and Max provided the best service, professionalism and in-depth knowledge not only of the Anzio campaign but of all of the historic events leading up to the conflict in the Anzio area. As the son of a World War 2 veteran who fought with the American First Armored Division and wounded during the campaign in 1944, this journey was the culmination of lifetime of curiosity about the challenges my father and all like him faced during the monumental struggles of the Second World War. Gilberto, Max and Discovery Tours made following in my father’s footsteps ever so much more meaningful and memorable!
