Our English-speaking driver/guide will welcome you at the cruiser terminal in Naples at 8:00am (suggested pick up time). On this private shore excursion from the pier of Naples or Sorrento, we will drive directly to the Amalfi Coast, where the most beautiful coastline in world offers incredible views throughout its course. Take this private, full day excursion to explore the Amalfi Coast. You have the option to spend as little or as much time as possible in the picturesque towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.

First, we will visit the town of Ravello, which sits high up above the Amalfi Coast. Here, we can visit the famous Villa Cimbrone, where from its terrace, “Terrace of Infinity,” you can enjoy incredible views of the coast-line. After, we will drive to Amalfi with another visit to the town that had a prestigious past when it was once a major naval power. Made up of a maze of narrow lanes and alleyways that climb the surrounding hills, the town features typical Mediterranean-style architecture with houses piled one on top of the other. Here, you can sample the local Lemoncella drink or perhaps visit the celebrated “Paradise Cloister” built in Arabian style that dates back to the thirteenth century.

To conclude your Amalfi coast shore excursion, we will drive to Positano where your English-speaking chauffeur/guide can suggest some local restaurants in the area for a typical Mediterranean meal; you can spend your early afternoon here before getting back to your ship.

We will take a stroll around the narrow alleys of the town, which enjoy an outstanding position along the Amalfi coast where delightful white and pastel-colored houses overspread the hillside. You will also enjoy seeing the beautiful beaches, its ancient fishing port, the splendid majolica dome of the church of Santa Maria Assunta, and artisan shops you’ll enjoy as a taste of the “Dolce Vita”.

You will arrive back to the port of Naples in perfect time to board your ship.

This tour length is approximately 9 hours in total and is conducted by an English-speaking driver/guide that will not enter sites but drive you around and show you places, pointing out things while explaining what they are, as well as stopping at the places that require a visit and helping you access them.
