Venice, “La Serenissima”, is situated in the Northeastern Part of Italy. Famous Worldwide for its uniqueness as it’s located on a conglomerate of 118 small islands that are separated by canals and connected to one another by over 400 bridges. The islands are part of the surrounding habitat: the Venetian Lagoon, that is situated where the Brenta and Sile rivers, deltas of 2 major northern Rivers the Po and the Piave.
The lagoon and a part of the city are officialy a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
