Greetings from the Ohriner family. You guided us around Florence
(Massimo), Rome (Gilberto), and Naples/Pompei (Mario) this summer.
Antonella gave us the tour of Vatican City.
Just wanted to say that we had a wonderful time and can highly
recommend your services to anyone. We of course fell in love with
Antonella! Massimo gave a wonderful experience of the country and of
Florence. He also took us to his favorite Gelato store which was a
real treat. The Rome tour was amazing and the guide for Pompei opened
our eyes to many of the hidden secrets of life 2000 years ago.
So now we just have our photos and memories but hope to see you in the
near future to do some more exploration.

Our guide, Rosa, in Florence was very knowledgeable and treated us really special. She took us to eat at her favorite out-of-the-way restaurant which was fantastic and she even gave us a special little gift at the end of the day.

I wanted to thank your company for such a wonderful experience both in Rome and in Florence last week. I was a little nervous using a company I had found over the internet, but your company far exceeded my expectations.

Both Marco and Katia, our guide and driver in Rome were wonderful. Very informative, courteous and helpful with every aspect of our tour. My parents are elderly and needed a little extra care, and they went above and beyond our expectations. I have been to Rome before, but it was Katia, because of her vast knowledge, showed us sites I have never seen before. What a spectactular experience.

Also, Massimo in Florence was a great driver. He showed us many sights that were great. Whatever we asked of him, he was able to deliver.

My family and our friends went on your shore tours of Naples, Rome, and Florence on August 22, 23 and 24; respectively. We would like to give some feedback on your operations, which overall is quite positive.

Janluca (forgive my spelling) was our driver for the Pompei-Sorrento-Positano tour. He was a very skilled driver and a true professional. We would like to thank him for trying to allay our worries about timely manner back to the ship. (And yes, we did arrive back at a ship with time to spare.) Giuseppe, our guide through Pompeii, was truly impressive. We found him to be organized, knowledgeable and personable. His enthusiasm for the history of Pompeii was infectious.

Angelo was our driver for the Ancient & Renaissance Rome & the Vatican City tour. We appreciated his sense of time, decisiveness and leadership. We believe that he allotted just the right amount of time for each landmark and thus, allowed us to see more of Rome. Emiliano, our guide through the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica, was informative and entertaining. He gave a fresh perspective on the Vatican City and its papacy. There was never a dull moment during his tour.

Massimo was our driver for the Best of Florence & Pisa tour. He was very friendly and accommodating. He best represents the gracious hospitality of Italy. Judy was our guide through Florence. She was knowledgeable and nice. However, we did feel at times that her tour was disorganized and lacking sense of direction. She didn’t clearly state the itinerary in Florence and while we did agree to it at the time, she stopped by a local jeweler to check on the state of her broken watch. We thought that this errand was inappropriate, considering what little time we had in Florence.

Your tours made our first time in Italy even more memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed the tours and would definitely book with you again. We would also recommend your services to any friends and family who should happen to find their way to Italy.

As a side note, we weren’t sure of the gratuity and tipping practices in Italy. We realize that the recommended tip was 10%. However, it was unclear if it was 10% each for the driver and guide or if it was 10% altogether for the driver and guide. Our hopes were that we tipped fairly. If not, please forgive us for our ignorance.

Now that we have returned home from our cruise around the Mediterranean, I would just like to say that the most memorable highlight of the whole cruise was the day in Rome with Fabrizio.
He was waiting on the Quay as we went ashore in Civitavecchia and from the moment we met him, our day was filled with laughter and enjoyment. We visited just about every tourist sight in Rome and he even showed us how to avoid the long lines to enter the Colosseum and the Sistine Chapel. He managed to park within easy walking distance of all the places of interest, even when there weren't any parking places. He negotiated all the tiny streets of Rome so that we didnt waste time in traffic. He was able to explain all the history of this amazing city. Fabrizio made our day in Rome the Most memorable day of our holiday. Thankyou.

Just had to acknowledge the two wonderful tours we had to Rome and Naples
There were 8 of us on a cruise and the pick-ups were spot on. the tour of Rome was especially memorable with tour guide/driver Ignazio in a Mercedes 8 seater.
In Naples we were slightly cramped as the vehicle was a VW instead of the expected Mercedes. The tour and guide (Tony) however were excellent.
