The Locanda Rosati is a typical stone country house located only a few kilometers from the magical city of Orvieto along the panoramic road to Lake Bolsena.
The drive from the valley (toll highway A1 Orvieto exit) offers magnificent views of the city. High up on a majestic plateau, the mediaeval towers and buildings stand silhouetted against the sky and the great cathedral glows gold in the afternoon sun.

The quality cuisine reflects the origin of your hosts and keeps faith with the finest tradition of the Umbrian and Tuscan countryside. Appetizing home-made pasta dishes and hearty soups with cold pressed extra-virgin olive oil, as well as Tuscan ribollita (vegetable and bread soup), prepared by Alba with produce and herbs from the Locanda's garden, are served every day. Delicious savory roasts, fragrant bread and pizza all come out of the traditional wood-burning brick oven. From the dining room you can reach the wine cellar, hand-carved from lava rock.
The Locanda Rosati is an ideal place for an encounter. The evenings pass all too quickly around the dinner table, where Giampiero and Paolo regale their guests with stories and help them decide on the next day's outing.
Geographically, the house is ideally located for day trips to the historical cities of Lazio and parts of Tuscany, including the Val d'Orcia, Pienza, Montepulciano, Montalcino, where old traditions in culture, wine and food still reign.
The loveliest cities in Umbria are also within easy reach, including Todi, Assisi, Gubbio, Perugia, as well as the fascinating smaller towns such as Spello, Cortona, Città della Pieve.

The Building
The Hotel is made up of two buildings. The main building, where you will find the Reception area, the Hall, the Hobby Room and the Restaurant, faces out onto a garden containing a consecrated Chapel, shaded by a secular pine tree, ideal for wedding and private ceremonies,. The other building is made up of additional rooms and the Suites and also faces out onto a garden. The Suites have a small veranda with seasonal flowers and a table and chairs.

The 70 sqm house is independent, and consists of a living room, two double bedrooms, one single sofa bed in the living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower. There is also independent heating, washing-machine, TV with video recorder and private parking. The house is situated in Vigna di Valle (Anguillara Sabazia), a locality rich in natural beauty, restoration services and summer serviced beach. Anguillara is only 36 km far from Rome. It is situated on the wonderful Lake of Bracciano, in the core of the Tuscia Romana. Its position at the center of the Lazio region permits you to reach many historical and naturalistic places, including archaeological areas. It is not far from the sea, the port of Civitavecchia and Fiumicino Airport. During summer you have a rich cultural offering, an amount of enjoying events , a lot of “sagre.
