Pick up at your hotel in Rome at 08:00am and drive to Florence(2 and half hour driving). Florence represents the cradle of Renaissance, thanks to Medici court and their patronage which attired artists and writers, it became the central point for the cultural life during 15th and 16th centuries. But just during 13th and 14th centuries Florence gave us some illustrious character like Giotto, Cimabue, Arnolfo di Cambio and Orcagna who left with their masterpieces in the city of Lily, a lot of models for all Italian art. Let’s start our tour from Santa Maria del Fiore, Filippo Brunelleschi’s best work finished between 1420 and 1434, also if the primitive project belonged to Arnolfo di Cambio who started the construction in 1296. We proceed with Piazza della Signoria. It is to medieval town planners that we owe the historic city centre of this city. Palazzo della Signoria, named also Palazzo Vecchio is located on a corner of the homonymous square. Initially it was the seat of Priors of arts (heads of guilds) then it became temporarily under Cosimo I of Medici, the place of Medici gouvernement. Then we continue to Ponte Vecchio which represents one of the most famous bridge in the world and the most ancient in Florence. We have a proof of his existence since the 10th century, but a flood of the Arno in 1333 destroyed the primitive structure. You can’t miss Palazzo Pitti, planned by Filippo Brunelleschi. It is the biggest and the most important palaces in Florence. Then Uffizi Museum designed by Vasari for Cosimo I in 1560 which represents a typically 16th century scenographic conception. We will move to Academy Gallery palace founded by the Grand Duke Peter Leopold well known museum because it hosts famous sculptures like the “David” of Michelangelo. This palace was restored and organise in the last century. Lunch in a traditional Florentine “trattoria” In the afternoon we will stop in Piazzale Michelangelo where you can enjoy the most beautiful panorama of the city. Back to Rome around 05:30pm.

Cancellation policy
Please, note that there will be no charge if you cancel your reservation by fax or e-mail within at least 15 days before date of requested service. If is not done in these terms, our company reserves the right to debit the “no show fee” on your credit card which is:

• Cancellation 1 week before date of requested service: No Penalty
• Cancellation 72 hours before date and time of requested service: 10% Penalty
• Cancellation 48 hours before date and time of requested service: 30% Penalty
• Cancellation 24 hours before date and time of requested service: 50% Penalty
• Cancellation less than 24 hours before the service fully charged.
